This challenge was the key focus in a recent TV hanger project where we installed a 75-inch TV above a beautifully crafted wood-finished fireplace. From the beginning, the client had expressed concerns about the height since it was their primary TV and they wanted to be able to watch comfortably.

One of the trickiest aspects of this project was the wood finish on the fireplace. Cutting into this existing woodwork required precision and expertise to ensure that the structural integrity and design of the fireplace were preserved. We carefully modified the wood section for the mount installation while seamlessly integrating the required electrical and video wiring inside the wall. The final result was a flawless appearance, with no visible wires or obtrusive components.
Motorized Motion for Optimal Viewing
As we mentioned, functionality was a key issue. The low-profile motorized mount we selected allows the TV to drop 32 inches from its original position, offering a much more comfortable viewing angle for watching shows and movies. With smooth, quiet motion, the TV glides down at the touch of a button, eliminating the strain that often comes with having to look up at a screen for extended periods.
Additionally, this mount offers the added benefit of rotating the TV toward the kitchen. Whether cooking or preparing meals, the client can now enjoy their favorite content from the kitchen without having to compromise on viewing angles.

Of course, ease of control is essential in a modern home. This TV mount was integrated with the home's Control4 system, offering centralized and convenient operation. With a single interface, the client can control the TV, its positioning, and any other connected devices.
